Hello friends and family!!

Thank you to those who have so generously supported me and have committed to faithfully praying to God for His Kingdom and the work that is going on in this world currently!

As many of you know, I’m back out on the field again! What?! You just got home?! Well yes, but the Lord said to go again. So here I am and I’m super excited. This trip is called the 10/40 alumni trip with Adventures in Missions. After doing the World Race in 2022, I felt the Lord call me back to the Middle East to continue to serve, disciple, and be discipled. The 10/40 Window is a rectangular area of North Africa, the Middle East and Asia between 10 degrees north and 40 degrees north latitude. It is the area in which the most unreached people groups are located. Unreached people groups lack enough followers of Christ and resources to evangelize their own people. My team consists of a group of 15 people who have all done a program with Adventures in Missions, whether it was a 9 month trip or 11 month trip, like I did myself, and we range in age, gender, where we’re from backgrounds, etc. A very diverse group with all the same intention to “go and make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:18-20).

The first part of training was in Grove City, Pennsylvania. My team and I took an intensive class in Perspectives on the World Christian Movement. It was a highly resourceful and educational training on world church movements, church planting, evangelism, biblical history, being a “worker” (what I will use to refer to as a missionary), missionary sending organizations, etc. Our time there was also really sweet getting to know each other and our other classmates. We stayed in a few different host homes, mostly retired workers living back in the states. One of the key things I learned was the importance of all the roles in building the kingdom; which are going, welcoming, mobilizing, and sending. All these roles are so important. Those going go to immerse themselves in cross cultural contexts to go and share the gospel (Matthew 28:18-20). Those welcoming are staying in their own cultures but going to people who are sojourners, strangers, refugees, international students, etc. (Leviticus 19:34). Those mobilizing are working to cast vision for the world in such a way that other believers can see God’s great story and finds ways to be apart of it (Matthew 12:34). Those sending are people who find themselves skilled and gifted in supportive ways to those going (Romans 10:14-15 and Matthew 6:21). All are important in the building of His Kingdom.

The last two weeks we were in Gainesville, Georgia where the Adventures in Missions base is located. We had more internal and spiritual teachings, (such as Evangelism, Apologetics, Intimacy with God, Forgiveness, etc.) as well as trainings on more logistical topics (such as Finance Stewardship, Logistical Training for travel, transportation and lodging, World Religions, Cultural Safety etc.)

The 15 of us have been split into three smaller teams where we’ll have separate ministry hosts throughout the country. I’m on a team with four other girls, Alayna, Evelyn, Madison and Syd, where we each have a role to serve the team. My role is the logistics and treasurer. I’m excited to be able to serve my team in this way! My team and I are partnering with a ministry in a city in the northern part of the country and teaching English, hosting English clubs, hosting YoungLife events, and ministering to students. I’d love to invite you all to join me praying for our ministry. This country has such a sweet place in my heart, it was the second to last country I did ministry in last year and I learned so much and gained so much more confidence in sharing the gospel with people. The country is dominantly Islamic but they are hungry for the TRUTH, about Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior!

Please pray for my team, for the people here that their hearts will be softened and open, and for encounters and conversations with people that are ready for the gospel! Also please pray for financial donations for me and my team as we fundraise to be able to go? And would you (or anyone you know) consider partnering with me not only through prayer but financially as well? I’m currently 68% funded, with about $3,000 left, praise God! The link to donate is below or you can use venmo, @clleverich. Thank you, I deeply appreciate all your encouragement and support!!

God bless you, and another update coming soon!! Please message me if you want to talk or ask questions or anything!

Love, Clara Leverich
