If the stars were made to worship, so will I.
My sister came to visit me last week in Hawai’i. It was the loveliest time and while she was here we went up to Mauna Kea to see the stars. When I saw I was in awe, I mean in AWE! I was AMAZED! Mauna Kea is the highest volcano/mountain in the world (from seafloor to peak), and often has a snow covered peak, hence the name meaning white mountain. This, along with little to no light pollution on the island, makes it one of the best places to see the stars. Lydia and I were blown away. The Milky Way is pictured here along with another volcano, Hualalai. And while we were out stargazing, I got thinking about all the creations God made. The sun, the moon, all the stars, etc. It says in Psalm 96:11-12, “Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it; let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy.” And it says in Job 38:7, “when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?” The stars will praise him! Now if the stars praise him, there is no excuse that I, who has a voice, will let them out praise me. God I praise you! Whether I’m here in Hawaii or at home or in another country, I will praise him, for I know he is worthy of all the praise and glory his creations give.
And if God knows and loves every one of His creations, how much more could He love His children whom He created in the likeness of Himself? He placed the stars in the sky and He knows them by name (Psalm 147:4). He knows you and calls you by your name and He loves you very much.
Thank you dearly for all your support, Clara
